Have your Teen bring a snack lunch and join Emily Simenauer on Fridays from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Emily Simenauer will lead them on a wonderful journey through her favorite medium, collages! Using bits of paper from magazines and other paper sources, your budding artist will learn to create great compositions in this low cost art form.
Emily is currently an art student at MSU and if you would like to see a couple of her paintings in person, I am fortunate to have a couple nice pieces in the Studio!
Sessions will be held every Friday beginning July 18th and the last day being August 22. Time: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Cost of the class is $10.00 . . . . don't wear your Sunday best . . . we try not to get messy, but well . . . things happen in a studio!
Please bring a snack lunch, but that is it!
Your Artist can come to one or all of the sessions and THERE IS NO NEED TO PRE-REGISTER FOR A SESSION, BUT IF YOU CAN IT WOULD MAKE IT EASIER FOR US TO PLAN! . . . You can do that by purchasing here on the web site, or by calling 989.584.6633 and leave a message if the Studio is closed!
If you have any old magazines or books that you can donate to be recycled into art, we would certainly appreciate them! (children's books have great colors in them! . . . And I am a lover of the bigger ones for art journals, another class soon to come . . . .
