We will "free style" paint on a 30x50 inch stretched canvas . . . yep big . . . I've pulled out all the stops for this and have gotten big canvases, big brushes, and tons and tons of bright colors. I'll paint with you and help you along the way. You can't ever make a mistake in this style of painting, so no worries!!

Big is one Adult who paints a 16”x20” canvas, and little is a child from the age of 7 years to 12 years that paints a 8”x10” canvas. Both of you will be painting the same picture so it will be a fun combination piece to be treasured for years to come! You can come to one session or both! (Different painting each day) Class is limited to

Have your young Artist join Emily Simenauer, an energetic art student who attends Michigan State University. Emily Simenauer will take your child on a journey exploring the collage process! Using glue and bits of torn paper, your artist will create wonderful masterpieces and gain a working knowledge to carry them forward as they explore the world of around them through art! A great beginning to a lifetime love of visual arts!
Pre-registration is not required but is encouraged! The artist can come to one or all of the Friday sessions for their age group! |

I’m excited that Carson City has this business to give us a “big city” opportunity. An art studio is often over looked as something only for those who are experienced or “artistic”. Well, I’m neither and hope to find a new fun affordable hobby, I do wish there was a way to see what painting are coming up so a person can plan in advance to attend. I hope and pray the people of Carson recognize this little hidden gem and give it a chance!!
